Originally starting in the industry as a Soundie, Andy soon discovered a love for editing and all things post production. After making the move into the edit suite he has worked across an eclectic range of projects covering everything from Animation, Documentary and Drama, through to Reality TV and the News.
In 2015 he won 'Best Editing in Current Affairs' at the Australian Screen Editors Awards for his work on The Feed at SBS. Stories he cut during this time would also go on to earn his producers Logie and Walkley nominations.
In 2020 he joined the National Committee of the ASE where his key accomplishments include creating and facilitating the Emerging Editor Awards, creating the Technical Excellence Award, and co-creating and producing the ASE’s podcast “Final_Final_Locked”.
With over 15 years experience and having worked on films like Wyrmwood Apocalypse, Peter Rabbit 2, and The Lego Ninjago Movie, he brings a calm, patient, discipline to every project he works on.
